Its always interesting to look at all the up and comers world wide to see where the next superstars are. There are some fantastic footballers in FFT's best 100 teenagers list that are not even 20 years old and have already made their mark in the soccer world. Names like Mbappe, Ashford, Donnarumma, Pulisic, Sadly, but not surprisingly, there are no Canadians on the list. The closest is Chelsea player Fikayo Tomori who was born in Calgary but raised in England, and recently helped the U20 team win the world cup. I thought maybe Alphonse Davies had a shot given his recent performance at the Gold Cup, but I suspect playing in the MLS has its limits. Hopefully, we will see him make the move to Europe soon and we will see him on the list along the likes Liverpools Liam Millar The other notable trend is that all of these players, including the americans are playing 1st team football, bringing into question the role of college/university soccer that is a staple in the US/Canadian path to pro for the high trajectory prospects.

Following up on this article...there were no Canadians on the list but who do you think should be on the list if Canada was represented?
Below is a brief list off the top of my head based on recent developments. Let me know if you know of others.
Ballout Tabla* - FCB Barcelona Alphonso Davies - Vancouver Whitecaps Liam Millar - Liverpool FC U23
*Not yet cap-tied
