Welcome to The Canadian Footy Underground - a community forum to discuss Canadian youth football (soccer).

This forum is intended to bring together the youth football community in Canada to discuss the sport we are all passionate about at the youth level. If you are a coach, a referee, a parent, an administrator, or just a fan of a youth player in the family, then this is the place to share your thoughts and opinions. What do you get out of this? Lets raise the level of the youth game by becoming informed and knowledgeable. Lets push the soccer community towards a higher standard than what we have seen in the past.

There will be differing opinions and voices about many aspects of the youth game. The point is not to agree that one is more relevant than the other. The point is to have a forum to debate the ideas on their merits so that each member of the community gains a better understanding to make informed decisions about their football future. The idea is to do so in a context of respect and collaboration. The usage guidelines are in place for that reason. Of course as in any community, there is always room for banter as well. But lets keep it civil.
